New Delhi: Karunavataram Dhyani got his name registered in India Book Of Records for doing the maximum number of football juggles with both feet. He was born on born on February 17, 2014 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He did 137 football juggles (without dropping the ball) in 1 minute at the young age of 6 years, 4 months, and 5 days.
The inspiration behind this record was to prove India and world that India too has talented kids who can lead Indian football to the greater heights in near future. The intention behind all this was to promote football culture between young generation. He practised for about 1 hours daily till 8 months.

Karunavataram’s father said “I remember when once my son of 6 years was down with fever, he said to me(after a silence of about 2 minutes) “you know papa I was practicing in my mind, I can’t practice with my feet, but I can do it in my mind”. This left me shocked for a while.

The main challenge was that he had to practice only and only indoor or on roof because of covid-19. Football is an outdoor game, but this kid of 6 years had to practice it indoor to achieve the target. And this was the biggest challenge that we had to practice football juggling indoor or in rooftop and not on ground. His parents are very happy and felt very honored after the confirmation of this record.

Every difficult situation opens with new opportunities with new dimensions. This covid-19 pandemic provides a lot of time for introspection and finding new skills within us. We only have to find our best skill. And the best out of us will come out.
